James Ghaida
James was called to the Alberta Bar in March 2025, following his articling with Forum Law LLP. During his articles, he gained comprehensive, hands-on experience in family law. James now handles a wide range of family law matters, including guardianship disputes, divorce, common-law separation, decision-making authority, parenting arrangements, child support, spousal and partner support, and family property division. While attending law school, James completed significant legal work with the University of Newcastle’s Legal Centre, focusing on family law clients. James was a member of the University Students’ Senate as well as the Law Student Association. He understands that there are various avenues for resolving family law issues but is always prepared to advocate in court when necessary. James has appeared before both the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta.
